The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a little slice of paradise buried away around 1,400 kilometres from mainland India's east coast, complete with azure blue ocean beaches and a little of history. Port Blair, the capital of this union territory, has a significant airport and seaport that is connected to the rest of the country as well as several tourist islands by multiple daily ferries.The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are made up of 572 islands, of which only 37 are inhabited and a few are open to tourists.
